Purpose

PRSA NJ established the Pyramid Awards in 1989 to recognize excellence in public relations and communications in New Jersey.

Eligibility

The PRSA NJ Pyramid Awards are open to all public relations professionals, consultants, agencies, and organizations that launched or completed qualifying public relations campaigns or single-item activities either as New Jersey-based professionals, consultants, agencies, and organizations or for New Jersey-based clients between January 1, 2023 and December 31, 2023. PRSA NJ Pyramid Awards entries also may be submitted for PRSA National Silver and Bronze Anvil Awards.

Entry Fees

Early Bird Submissions (through June 21, 2024)

• Chapter members: $105/entry
• Non-members: $130/entry

Standard Submissions (through August 9, 2024)

• Chapter members: $130/entry
• Non-members: $155/entry

Entrants are permitted a total of 10 submissions.

Submitting and Entry

An entry may be submitted in only one Category, either in the Single-Item Division or the Campaign Division. Single-items that are part of a campaign may be entered separately in one Category of the Single-Item Division. A separate fee will be required for each entry. Judges reserve the right to reassign an entry to a different Category.

Judging

A panel of public relations and communications professionals will serve as judges. Entries will be evaluated on research, planning, execution, and demonstrated results, as well as the effective use of budget and resources. Judges may award multiple winners in any Category as deemed appropriate. Judges reserve the right to not designate a winner in a Category if no entries meet the criteria to receive an award.

Notification

All entrants will be notified as to the status of their entries. Notification will occur immediately after judging.
