2026 Rising Star Award

This award recognizes a high-performing public relations professional under age 35 who demonstrates exceptional promise and measurable impact.

There is no fee to submit a nomination.

Eligibility Requirements:

Practice public relations or integrated marketing communications in New Jersey
Have 2 to 9 years of public relations experience
Demonstrate measurable success (include 1–2 campaign examples from January 1, 2025 – December 31, 2025)
Exhibit the highest standards of ethics
Demonstrate commitment to professional growth and continued education
Consistently exceed expectations in their role

PRSA NJ membership is encouraged but not required.

Nominations must not exceed two printed pages and must include a resume or summary of job history.

Self-nominations are permitted.

All submissions will be reviewed by the PRSA NJ Board of Directors.

To nominate a colleague, please submit your essay via the Google form by June 30, 2026.
