About the Pyramid Awards
PRSA NJ established the Pyramid Awards in 1989 to recognize excellence in public relations and communications in New Jersey. The competition is open to all public relations professionals, consultants, agencies, and organizations that launched or completed qualifying public relations campaigns or single-item activities either as New Jersey-based professionals, consultants, agencies, and organizations or for New Jersey-based clients during the calendar year 2024.
The Pyramid Awards offer up New Jersey’s best of the best! From influencer campaigns and digital communications to annual reports and podcasts, a campaign or single-item category will surely be worth entering on behalf of your organization or clients. The Excellence Awards recognize individuals who have made a significant contribution to our profession in New Jersey.
Perhaps the most rewarding part of being named a Pyramid Award winner is having your entry evaluated by a panel of public relations peers nationwide. Entries are assessed based on research, planning, execution, demonstrated results, and the effective use of budgets and resources.
Sponsorship Opportunities

Judging
For the second year in a row, PRSA NJ has entered the PRSA Judging Pool, a program designed for chapter awards committee chairs who seek to engage in reciprocal award judging with other chapters. This program enables chapters to have their awards judged by peers from different chapters, sparing them from assessing their own awards.
This year, the PRSA Sierra Nevada chapter will judge the Pyramid Awards. This arrangement enables each program to be more holistically judged on its own merit, with less possibility of conflicts of interest or unintended bias.
